Exam tips in English - Exams online tips
We must do hard work while studying also the hard work should be in the right direction so that we can score well in exams. First please understand that No one is intelligent. If you spend time on a particular work, you'll be best at it. While someone is spending time in some other work then he'll be best in that work. On seeing in that field, the world will give us a name called INTELLIGENT.
We will be intelligent only in the field where we spend more time. A Doctor will be intelligent in his field and an Engineer will be intelligent in his field. A Doctor cannot understand Engineer's language and an Engineer cannot understand Doctor's language. I tell scientific terms as language. If you invest time in a particular field then you'll be intelligent in that field. But according to our society, one who scores more mark in exams are considered intelligent. But that's not right!
But to score good marks we need to know the questions that come to the exam. So we can use the 80-20 principle here.
Follow 80-20 Principle
80 percent of the result comes from 20 percent of the effort you give. There is a book available on this principle, you can read or refer to that for additional knowledge.
Before studying first, gather the past 5 years' question papers and study the questions in these papers. Because 70% of the questions in the exam will be from these past year's papers. Even if you study these questions alone, you will pass the exam. If you have time after preparing from this past year's question papers, then move to one word and other questions in the book.
Let's compare the process of studying with preparing a cake. First, you need to prepare a base for the cake, You can't make toppings for the cake at first. So prepare a base first, that is study from previous year's question papers first. After that study other important topics, then cover the one words inside the book.
Studying Mathematics
Maths is not about theory, it's a practical subject. Anyone of us can do well in maths if we kept the concept at our fingertips. Even while studying Mathematics, you can use this 80-20 principle. First, prepare from the previous year's question papers, but in subjects like Maths, they can even change the numbers and signs. So while studying Maths, first categorize everything. After reading previous year's questions, you can easily understand the important concepts or questions in maths. You must understand the steps and methods even if they change signs in the question paper.
Brain activated learning
After studying from the previous year's question papers, you can score 75% in exams. Most of us study will start studying the unknown concepts first. But that's not right. After some time, we will be exhausted easily. So before studying new concepts you must activate your brain. If you know something related to that concept, then your brain will be activated and works at best. If you don't know anything related to that concept, then you may ask your friends or even use YouTube videos. So that you and your brain will be interested in learning the new concept. You can study easily when your brain is active.
Presentation
This is the most important thing in exams. Because it's not oral exams but writing exams. The one who corrects the paper doesn't know anything about you. But they will judge you on seeing your handwriting and presentation. So try to give the best presentation in the paper as much as you can. You can use blue 🖊️ and black pen 🖋️ for giving a good presentation. If your handwriting or presentation is poor, then the one who corrects your paper will feel bad. So they may give low marks to you. You know, my classmate is an average student, but he always scores well. And he told me his secret that is presented. I saw his paper once, surprised to see his paper. It was like a printed sheet. Try to write neatly, and keep your paper looking good, especially the first few pages. As we all know first impression is the best few pages of our answer paper tell real reflect confidence. All the best for your board exams👍🏻
